New York based Jewellery designer, Samantha Wills, joined race-goers trackside at Flemington on Saturday for the Turnbull Stakes, as curator and host of Yellowglen house, one of the only public marquees for general admission ticket holders during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. With fantastic views of the track, Yellowglen House is the place to be over Melbourne Cup Carnival. Decorated with Samantha’s luxe bohemian touch, Yellowglen House has all the trappings of a VIP marquee including Yellowglen Vintage wines, canapes, entertainment and uninterrupted views down the Flemington straight to the winning post.

Wills’ role at this year’s Carnival is only part of a long-term collaboration with Yellowglen, which includes the newly released bespoke Australian sparkling wine, ‘Peacock Lane’. Guests at the launch were one of the first to try ‘Peacock Lane’, created by Samantha and Yellowglen winemaker Trina Smith. A light and refreshing sparkling wine, Peacock Lane was a hit during the day and is certain to be a favourite throughout the carnival and on those hot summer days.
Over the four race days, racegoers that exude sophistication, style and grace will be ‘tapped on the shoulder’ by Yellowglen hosts who will be scouring the public lawn with golden VIP keys that allow access to Yellowglen House. The chosen ones will visit Yellowglen House for a Birdcage like experience with one of the best views on tracks. So make sure you put your best foot forward during the 2013 Melbourne Cup Carnival:
