In their fifth year, and with a successful debut women’s line under their belts, Vanishing Elephant brings arguably their best collection yet. Perfectly balanced seasonal motifs with the signature VE prints and character round off the Autumn Winter offerings.

Having stepped up to womenswear last summer, Vanishing Elephant has grown into a solid brand among Australian labels.

An overtly dark collection considering their usual bright offerings, the A/W collection makes use of men’s and women’s tailoring and telltale original prints for a classic but evolved look.

In Vanishing Elephant’s own words, the collection is as practical as ever, whilst also an evolution of the brand. Standalone pieces are anchored together through VE detail and an ongoing silhouette – an obviously more grown up look this season. Whilst we see true Vanishing Elephant colours shine – quite literally – through fun additions like tie-dye socks, mixed prints and bold colour blocking suits.

Naming names, the lookbook highlights the playfulness with ensembles like the mixed silk blouse and washed print skirt or the canary yellow suit from the Womens line. Whilst contrasting this with an all-black suit ensemble.

The Men’s look is strong as ever, with dapper dress shoes and dark worker shirts for every occasion. Expanding their tailoring whilst also addressing cool casualness, the collection is outstanding.

Pieces have begun arriving in-store and online, with more due in May and deeper into Autumn and Winter.
