After 3 years of design and development, David Abela, Andrew Ryan and Daniel Vid are very proud to be unveiling their latest hospitality venue in Melbourne’s most desired inner city social locale – Swan Street in Richmond. The new 100-seater bar and restaurant is going to be known simply as ‘untitled’ and be the new home of former young chef of the year, Tim Martin who will lead his culinary team in delivering modern euro fair accompanied by a unique list of Australian and European wines.
The venue’s fit-out is very special. “Its been a labour of love with a group that has inspired each other and taken creative leaps to end up with this magical space”, says principal of Flack Studio and AD top100 designer recipient, David Flack. “This is the largest scale hospitality venue our studio has worked on to date and we couldn’t be prouder of how it has come to life – The colour, the depth, the feeling, it effortlessly, yet interestingly warms the senses, which is so important in a hospitality space that people come to have
a special experience in, outside of their homes”.
There are a variety of different eating and drinking areas within the venue, including a horse-shoe bar on the ground floor, an indoor garden room and a moody upper-level dining space that features custom designed lighting, marble inlaid flooring and a contemporary art collection that will inspire. Untitled is located at 236 Swan Street in Richmond, right next door to renowned cocktail establishment, The Ugly Duckling, which David, Andrew and Dan also own and operate.
