After reading about L’Oreal’s new Série Expert Volumetry range, products designed especially to help people with fine hair create volume, I was keen to try it. As someone who has naturally flat hair, it is a very frustrating process not only trying to create volume but also trying to maintain it through out the day.
I’ve tried volumising products in the past, but rather than giving my hair lift, the product just weighed it down even more. The way the new Volumetry range is designed to work, is that it not only cleans and primes your hair but it then reinforces the structure of your hair, allowing it to hold volume better. With a promise like that, what’s not to love!
I began by washing with the Anti-Gravity Volumising Shampoo, focusing the product on the roots of my hair. This was great to remove any product I had sitting in my hair. After washing that out, I applied Anti-Gravity Volumising Conditioner to the ends of my hair. I generally find that most conditioners, although hydrating my hair, tends to make it heavy, weighing it down. I found the new Volumetry range conditioner kept my hair soft but but kept the ends light. I found you don’t need to leave it on for too long for it to work well.
I’d recommend using the Anti-Gravity Volumising Mist after washing your hair. It works best on towel dried hair. You can spray a generous amount through your hair and around your roots. For added lift, turn your head upside down and blowdry.
The Volumetry SOS Volume Spray is the perfect product to put in your handbag for those bad hair days, or to take you easily from day to night. The spray will remove oil, add volume and give your hair a fresh, clean feel. This is also the perfect product for when you don’t have time to wash your hair.
One added bonus of the Volumetry range is that my hair not only feels fuller and healthier, but it has given it an added shine.
