Australia’s biggest craft beer celebration, the Great Australasian Beer Spectacular (GABS) is taking place this week from Friday, 27th May to Sunday, 29th May at the Royal Exhibition Building.
Now in it’s 11th year, the GABS Festival is renowned as one of the world’s leading beer experiences. GABS brings together the best breweries Australia and New Zealand for a whirlwind celebration of craft beer including 117 brand new festival beers brewed exclusively for GABS that won’t be found anywhere else in the world! You can see the full list here
The new beers are the cornerstone of GABS with brews inspired by breakfast treats, savoury snacks, fruity goodness, delicious desserts, classic cocktails and more. From craft beginners to the sophisticated palate, there’s something on the menu for everyone – think peanut butter, coffee, Earl Grey teat, chicken salt, pizza, gravy, fairy floss, bubble gum and sour gummi bears!
Melbourne’s festival highlights include:

Silent Disco – choose from 80s, RnB and Dance!
-
Balter Tins of Glory – Tinnie Hurling the world’s favourite beer sport invented by the brewery with the little green smile, is set to light up the GABS Festival events with qualifying rounds for the World Championships!
