To celebrate this year’s Caulfield Cup Carnival, Caulfield Style Ambassador Nicole Warne has starred in a short film celebrating the Caulfield Journey. Created by De Republica, the film wanted to capture Warne in iconic, Melbourne landmarks as she made her journey to the Caulfield Racecourse for the Carnival.
Styled by Lana Wilkinson, the video sees Warne in race-ready looks from some of Australia’s top designers including Dion Lee, camilla & marc, Manning Cartell, Lover, Alice McCall and more.
Speaking about her role as Style Ambassador, Warne said “I’m incredibly thrilled to be the Caulfield Style Ambassador for 2014. Spring Racing is such an exciting time for Australian style, so I am looking forward to sharing my inspirations and experiences throughout the Caulfield Cup Carnival, and seeing the very best of what’s on offer, both on and off the track this season.”
Talking about her involvement in The Caulfield Journey, Warne said, “Creating ‘The Caulfield Journey’ film has been a real passion project for me. Everyone has their journey leading up to the Caulfield Cup Carnival, and for me it’s the interplay of fashion and the world we live in that continuously inspires me. Gary Pepper is all about seeing the world through coloured glasses and we wanted to communicate this with ‘The Caulfield Journey.’
Speaking about the Caulfield Cup video, Melbourne Racing Club CEO Brodie Arnhold said “The Caulfield Journey beautifully captures the passion and beauty that racing inspires both on and off the track. As the premiere event of the spring racing season, we see the Crown Golden Ale Caulfield Cup Carnival as the ultimate place to experience that feeling.
