Australian jewellery designers Ford + Harris bring the 60s to the ‘noughties’, selecting their favourite jewellery pieces for the Beat Generation shoot.

The shoot is a nod to the Factory Girl era and Beatnik styling, featuring luxe 18K gold plating and black onyx gemstones for a glamorous ‘after-dark’ appeal.

Co-founder Sharona Harris explains, “We are really influenced by the styling, music scene and the pop-culture that surrounds different eras, so for this shoot we wanted to harness the mod styling of the ‘60s, with a girl that looked like she was on her way out for an night at the Whiskey A Go Go bar, decked out in our luxe geometric designs.”

For this shoot, key styling pieces included the Azuma earrings, featuring a monochromatic palate of gemstones and an asymmetrical design, the Tadao square hoop earrings, and the Tokyo cocktail ring, which includes large parallel segments of black onyx gemstone.
