To celebrate Summer and the launch of its new Flutterby range, T2 hosted a fabulous Summer Tea Festival at its beautiful headquarters in Melbourne. The festival brought together some of the best T2 teas in ways that truly celebrate summer. Guests of the Summer Tea Festival were treated to a variety of different activities and tea tastings.
In one room, the long table that dominated the room has cylinders filled with the T2 range of teas with T2 experts helping to create your own tea combination.
A tea leaf reader entertained guests in another room demonstrating the specialised skills in tea leaf reading and meanings, whilst in another room, various brewed teas were placed on a huge table in order of their tea type. It’s amazing how many flavours of tea there are!
Guests enjoyed a range of Summer Iced Teas and a range of cocktails featuring some of T2’s favourite tea blends. Some of Melbourne’s best bars were on hand to create special cocktails for the festival including Golden Monkey, East End Den, Le Bon Ton and Mr Big Stuff.
East End Den created The Geisha Garden, a mix of Gin and Sake shaken with T2 Gorgeous Geisha, Apple juice and Thyme Syrup, whilst Mr Big Stuff created Mr Tea, a mix of Martell V.S.O.P Cognac, fresh pressed lemon juice & Peach Sencha Green Tea Syrup, topped with cold brew Peach Sencha Green Tea.
