It was the party that got the country talking. Georgia May Jagger and Sunglass Hut collaborated to launch their second annual floating store last week to great success. From the moment Georgia touched down at Sydney airport there was a buzz in the air, and for good reason too.
The stunning 20 year old (obviously the child of the gorgeously infallible Mick Jagger and Geri Hall) has been working for some of the worlds largest brands and most recently featured on the front cover of Australia’s Harper’s BAZAAR. Now she shines in Australia for the Sunglass Hut floating store. For it’s second year, the store did not disappoint and neither did the launch party.
Taking a boat from the underside of the Sydney Opera House, guests were ferried to the middle of Darling Harbour where the Sunglass Hut store and party awaited. A floating island of the worlds most luxurious frames greeting guests followed by a glorious party flowing with cocktails and h’orderves. Favorites include Honey Colada, Ginger and Apple Daquiri and the Blueberry and Watermelon Caprioska.
The guest of the moment arrived in private boat and looked dazzling in a Sass & Bide dress that suited the metallic theme of the night to a tee. Complete with a metallic pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses (via Sunglass Hut of course) the night had truly begun. Georgia was a vision and a delight during the course of the night and of course flashed her signature grin.
Just when we thought the night was over guests were treated to a glorious five minute long fireworks spectacle via private firework ferry. What a night! Sunglasses galore and a treat for all senses.
Sunglass Hut is the worlds largest sunglasses retailer with more than 2,000 retail locations. You can find more information on Sunglass Hut at the link provided.
