For those who like to indulge in high tea, often one miniature salted caramel and macadamia crunchy tart just isn’t enough to satiate the appetite. Maybe you would like another scone with fresh cream and jam or a second passionfruit and mango macaron. The solution? The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood, now offering more of the treats you love. Seconds or even thirds of your favourite desserts are available, if you so request them. This decadent experience wouldn’t be complete without specialty teas served in Wedgwood china accompanied by three tiered cake stands filled with savoury sandwiches.
The Langham Hotel has offered children’s high teas for over six years, which leads to the introduction of their latest stage in fine dining, Designer Teen High Teas. Ideal for their younger clientele, this dining experience features desserts created specifically for a youthful audience. These include handmade XO cookies, mac and cheese croquettes, pink macarons and a modern take on the classic choc top. These fun treats are paired back with more traditional ribbon sandwiches and fluffy scones with clotted cream and jam.
The Designer High Teas will be served over the March, Easter and April school holidays from Friday March 25th to Thursday April 14th. Teens are $35 each or $49 with a Langham pink nail polish to take home. Accompanying adults are $55 per person.
