OPI celebrates 50 years of James Bond with the release of the James Bond 007 range, Skyfall. The range is inspired by the film’s blend of glamour and danger and consists of 12 dangerously stunning nail lacquers with each shade titled after one of the box office smash hit 007 movies.
The next highly-anticipated twenty-third instalment of the 007 James Bond movies, Skyfall, stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem and new bond girl Bérénice Marlohe. In the movie Bond girl, actress Bérénice Marlohe wears two of OPI’s Skyfall shades, Skyfall, a rich shade of maroon chocolate, painted on top of the nail and GoldenEye, a shimmering gold, painted on the undersides.
Other shades include, a romantic red, The Spy Who Loved Me, a royal plum, Casino Royale. The almost black shade of Live and Let Die, reflects the vodoo themes in that 007 adventure, whilst the exhilirating metallic grey aptly reflects Moonraker’s trip to outer-space and an encounter with Jaws, and a multi-hued confetti glitter that sparkles 24/007, The Living Daylights.
On her recent trip to Australia to perform on X-factor, singer Rita Ora wore the vibrant red, The Spy Who Loved Me as her base and on her ring fingers only, she chose the multi-hued confetti glitter of The Living Daylights as an overlay.
From metallic and glitter finishes to jewel tones and almost black, these lacquers capture the film’s glamorous appeal and sophistication. You can be sure that you’ll find a shade that matches your best Bond girl moments.
