Ever wanted to record on a hit single with one of Australia’s most popular dance acts? We thought so.

Open Studio presented by Ben Sherman is a fully functional recording studio in the heart of Sydney that invites the public to lay down a beat on an original track with Art vs. Science. For real.

Punters need to visit pedestrian.tv/open-studio and tell us in their wittiest 25 words what sound they’d like to contribute to the track – be it a finger click or a sax solo – and together with Art vs. Science we will hand pick 60 contributors who sound like they have the tastiest jams and the friendliest attitudes.

From the 17th to the 21st of February 2014 the Ben Sherman Sydney Arcade store will be transformed into a noise proof bubble – aka the HQ for musical history making – and the track will be mixed and recorded live for the world to witness. The song will be unleashed the following week across TV, radio and the world wide web.

“We could not think of a better way to begin the celebrations of our 50th anniversary than with this innovative concept,” says Tim Smith, Ben Sherman Marketing Manager. “Music has always been at the heart of the Ben Sherman brand and we are thrilled to be able to present this world first collaboration with Art vs. Science.”

If you can tap it like Zappa, or simply clap your hands and say yeah, everyone is welcome to REGISTER NOW. We are the world, after all.

Entries are open now and close on the 3rd of February 2014.
