Pop in to the new dining experience featuring three of Melbourne’s most exciting restaurants.
Rue & Co is the new destination for Melbourne food lovers featuring Jimmy Grants, St Ali and Chris Lucas’ new venture Kong at 80 Collins street, Melbourne, that is a square turned dining precinct for all to enjoy.
Part of the QIC Global Real Estate initiative, the collective “container-restaurants” allows Melburnians to sample some of Melbourne’s tastiest delights all in the one place, right in the heart of the CBD. You can enjoy a modern souvlaki from Jimmy Grants, followed by a Kimchi beef stew from Kong and top the whole meal off with sweet delights and coffee from St Ali. The quarter also features the largest street artwork in Australia by RONE and digital installation by new media artist, Joel Zika.
George Calombaris said: “Jimmy Grants at Rue & Co means souvas at the Paris end of Collins Street! Wow! This temporary dining hub in the heart of the city is takeaway food at its best…in great surroundings, with Kong and St Ali right alongside.”
St Ali’s Salvatore Malatesta revealed: “The moons were perfectly aligned for us to achieve this result, and no amount of planning could have made it happen – to have three of Melbourne’s best known brands (Kong, Jimmy Grants, St Ali) serving up food and drinks on Melbourne’s most luxurious address from shipping containers. It’s perfection.”
Chris Lucas added: “I am pleased to join the collaboration at Rue & Co, which means foodies can try Kong’s Japanese and Korean barbeque flavours, Greek food or great coffee, all within metres of each other.”
Opening today Rue & Co is trading 7 days a week. Make sure you head down to sample the delights from some of Melbourne’s favourite chefs and restauranteurs!
