Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema today revealed its highly anticipated January program of movies under the stars – Kicking off 2023 with a sizzling line-up of blockbuster summer preview screenings, latest releases and retro favourites. Tickets for the January program are on sale now at moonlight.com.au. Program highlights include; James Cameron’s highly anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water screening nationally on 20th and 27th January, Steven Spielberg’s awards contender, The Fabelmans starring Michelle Williams, and Disney’s latest animated family adventure, Strange World.
Moonlight Cinema is also bringing retro classics back to the big screen, featuring vampire cult-classic Twilight, My Best Friend’s Wedding starring Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage in the action thriller Con-Air, and Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews in the coming-of-age comedy The Princess Diaries. With the recent success of Top Gun: Maverick, it’s a great opportunity for fans to catch the original 1986 film under the stars this January.
Thanks to Moonlight Cinema’s official Green Partner, Garnier, all 105 screenings scheduled this January will be powered by 100% renewable energy. Achieved by purchasing renewable energy certificates (LGCs) from Pivotel Satellite 200kW Solar PV system.
