MOJO Winemakers have launched its new look wines with the launch of Studio MOJO, a special collaboration with local Australian artists. MOJO Winemakers engaged artists Ghost Patrol, Kirra Jamison, Barbara Kitallides and Luci Everett to design a piece of art for a MOJO varietal in their signature style.
The brief to each artist was to feature their own style of art while being asked to create a piece of art using the wine, the wine region and music as their inspiration. The result is a beautiful collage by Luci Everett for MOJO Moscato; abstract expressionism by Barbara Kitallides for MOJO Cabernet Sauvignon; illustration by Ghost Patrol and MOJO Shiraz and contemporary abstract by Kirra Jamison and MOJO Sauvignon Blanc.
The Studio MOJO range is a beautiful and daring mix of wine labels that work well together or on their own; something you would be proud to take to a dinner party, or have on your shelf at home like a piece of art. MOJO is currently working on their next artist collaboration for the Pinot Gris and Chardonnay varietals.
To celebrate the launch of Studio MOJO, MOJO Winemakers is sponsoring Melbourne Festival and is the official wine partner of the Foxtel Festival HUB. During the Festival, MOJO Winemakers will be serving MOJO’s range of much loved wines, with Sydney street artist Ears doing a live art installation at the HUB that is inspired by wine and the love of drinking it. Make sure you visit the Studio MOJO bar at the Foxtel Festival HUB during the Melbourne Festival 10-26 October 2014.
