Don’t get me wrong, I love all that winter brings – textures, layers, the ultimate hot chocolate, but there comes a point where I can’t help but yearn for the warmth of summer; to see people clad in bright cheerful tones instead of the sombre blacks of winter.
An absolute staple in my summer wardrobe is a pair (or two) of Havaianas. There have been a plethora of styles in some good pastels, neons and bright colour, but if you, like me, are a massive fan of prints, this latest collaboration is going to stun you right in your seats!
Following the worldwide success of their 2011 collaboration, Havaianas and Italian fashion house Missoni have once again come together to create a mini collection, consisting of three electrifying prints for him and her.
Widely known for their highly distinguishable zig zag print, Missoni have covered everything from home decoration and textiles, to knitwear, childrenswear, collaborations and more recently, the lifestyle hotel chain Hotel Missoni, that are to come around the world.

These highly coveted limited editions are definitely not to be missed. Without a doubt I steer immediately towards the slim fit with neon lime straps and zig zags in vibrant, summery colours – it’s all about the clashing print! Instantly recognisable, never again worry about getting your thongs lost in the crowd this coming summer. Or if you think they are too beautiful to wear (which, trust me, they almost are), they too make for a wonderful gift or collectible for Havaianas and Missoni lovers all around.
