Missoni madness descended upon the fashion loving crowd in Australia as the fashion giant officially launched its collaboration with Target today. Thousands swarmed to the 61 Target stores across the country hoping to get their hands on a piece of the much coveted collection. Those who weren’t able to make it in stores tried to buy their own piece of the collaboration on the Target website which crashed from the unprecedented traffic.
Missoni Creative Director Angela Missoni flew into Australia especially to celebrate the launch. She was on hand to officially open the Missoni print covered doors of Target’s Chapel Street store in Melbourne, welcoming customers to shop the range.
The Missoni for Target collection features 200 pieces, with products ranging from homewares and bedding, to womenswear and childrenwear as well as beach accessories. Even pets weren’t left out of the mix, with colourful bowls and leads adorned with the trademark Missoni zigzags.
The majority of the Missoni for Target collection is priced between $10 to $129, with several statement pieces selling for $169.
