The luminous couture bottle has prime position on my mantelpiece. Elegant, romantic, an absolute classic; Miss Dior is a perfume I coveted for ages before finally making it my own. Miss Dior is one of my favourites.

Launched in September 2012, the fragrance is the latest addition to the Miss Dior collection. Inspired by romance, Eau De Parfum is for an ‘elegant and spirited young woman in love’.
The legendary Original Miss Dior was launched by Christian Dior in 1947 as his first couture collection was released. Dior created the concept of Couture perfume and established Miss Dior as an icon of the fashion house.

Described as an “audacious chypre”, a sophisticated muskiness lingers when wearing Miss Dior. Appealing to a youthful woman, the fragrance carries a citrusy freshness with notes of mandarin essence and jasmine. The notes of patchouli essence ensure the fragrance is at once modern and elegant.

Le Parfum is more concentrated than previous Miss Dior perfumes, highlighting its leather notes. To convey notions of romance, sweet vanilla is prominent and topped with fruity notes of Mandarin and floral accords of Turkish and Bulgarian rose. Francois Demachy chose to emphasise the oriental aspect of this new addition for a stronger sense of sophistication, making the perfume more mysterious than earlier interpretations.
The glass bottle encasing the fragrance is simply stunning. Marked with the signature hound’s tooth pattern and textured metallic bow, Miss Dior remains timeless. Perfume by Dior is the fashion house’s “finishing touch” for elegance and absolute luxury.
Natalie Portman is the face of Miss Dior, possessing a naturally playful elegance perfectly capturing the essence of the fragrance. Past campaigns used Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley.
