The eagerly awaited Melbourne Night Noodle Markets return to Birrarung Marr from 7 to 24 November. Serving up sweet and spicy street-food from China, Vietnam, Thailand and beyond, the Night Noodle Markets will transform the banks of the Yarra into a vibrant hawker-style market for 18 noodle-filled nights.

This year, Melbournians can expect signature dishes and exciting new snacks including Hoy Pinoy’s famous Filipino BBQ and Street Food, Poklol x Puffle’s quirky cone-shaped cheese waffles, Wonderbao’s fluffy steamed buns, Miso Fresh’s soba noodles, Kumokumo’s fluffy pillow-soft pancakes, and Scoopy Milk Bar’s Korean shaved ice desserts. Other stalls include Gelato Messina, Shallot Thai, @Roll Up, Bao Brothers, Bangkok Street Food, Calabang, Donburi Station, Drumplings, Flying Noodles, Fry’D Ice Cream, Fusion Paella & Tapas, Let’s Do Yum Cha, May’s Malaysian, Nem n Nem, Okonomiyaking, Pham Sisters, Pinchys, Raijin, Sambal Kampung, Teppanyaki Noodles, Twistto, Tokosan, Waffleland, WAWA and Wok Master.

This year, Citi is opening its doors to customers and non-customers alike in The Citi Lounge, a Melbourne laneway style bar with ample seating. Robbie Rommers, Head of Brand Marketing and Sponsorships, said: “We love the hustle and bustle of the Night Noodle Markets, but we know it’s nice to take a break and a seat to soak in the atmosphere as well. We hope all Night Noodle Market attendees will drop by for a drink and to enjoy the delicious food on offer.”

In addition to the Citi VIP space, Citi will offer all Night Noodle Market attendees a chance to play the ‘Citi Wall of Fortune’, a lucky-draw game letting attendees pick one of 300+ stacked noodle boxes to see if they contain a prize.

2019 marks the first year the Melbourne Night Noodle markets welcome their official wine sponsor Jacob’s Creek to the table. For those seeking an escape from the hustle and crowds, the Jacob’s Creek Wine Tipi will provide the perfect spot for those wanting to grab a seat under cover and enjoy a glass of wine paired to their favourite fare. Jacob’s Creek wines have been expertly matched to Melbourne’s best restaurants and dishes for the perfect culinary wine moment.

There will also be live music and DJs, alongside a host of other experiences across the site. The Malt Shovel Beer Garden will serve ten styles of beer including the ‘Malt Shovel Brewers’, their signature hop driven, tropical and fruity XPA with a malt sweetness to balance, while Marriott Bonvoy is turning back time, with a 1920s style diner serving Hot Shoppe classics including Root Beer Floats, Shirley Temples and Spiders.
