Luxe fabrications, slits and cut outs to show off summer skin and very sexy swimwear – Bec and bridge presented their vision for SS16, and, if you’re asking them, it’s going to be a hot one.
Across the expansive collection, Boho prints and warm, rich colours dominated the colour palate, playing off silver accent pieces and hardware…and as an extra nod to a wet hot summer, it all went happened on a slicked down runway.
Think halter necks and backless dresses mixed with Falls Festival ready shirt dresses and maxis – the girl from studio 54 if she went glamping, if you will.
Their SS16 show also marked their first foray into swimwear. Metallic bikinis, cut out one pieces and resort ready kimonos had the crowd dreaming of summertime in Marrakech…even if they are confined to winter weather for now.
