Named after the Latin word Obscuritas, meaning darkness and obscurity, Mania Mania’s latest collection takes a haunting turn, inspired by the 1977 cult horror film Suspiria. Using the film’s protagonist Suzy as it’s muse, Mania Mania have created pieces inspired by her style. They have also taken direction from the French Noveau and Art Deco surroundings of the ballet academy in which the story is set.

The foreboding long lines of the dances schools archways are echoed in The Long Arch Ring, while the use of crystal and angular shapes a reminiscent of the buildings stained glass ceilings and windows.

Mania Mania’s trademark smokey quartz crystals, sit alongside the newly introduced vibrant blue of Lapis Lazuli. Mania Mania’s supernatural aesthetic hasn’t been forgotten, present in beautiful moon and occult inspired symbols. The brand’s 70’s vibe is also woven throughout the collection, with tassels and tusks infusing a slightly boho edge into the collection.
