We love pouring over the designer presentations each fashion week, and during New York Fashion Week, the couture didn’t stop at the end of the runway. For editors, PR mavens, and girls about town, the cold weather didn’t stop them from putting their best red-soled shoe forward, stylishly covering up for the commute to Lincoln Centre.
Anya Ziourova and Anna Wintour led the pack choosing to wear fur jackets, with the Russian fashion director belting hers to create a structured silhouette and the Vogue editrix layering hers, completing her look with her trademark bob and dark sunglasses.
While fur was a huge trend on the streets, others opted for structured full length wool coats with accent accessories to complete their looks. Marie Claire‘s Accessories Editor, Kyle Anderson stood out from the crowd in a Dolce and Gabbana coat and Fendi bag.
Another huge trend we’ve seen on the streets is hats. From fur hoods and wide brimmed hats, to this season’s must have fedoras – headwear made a huge impression. Even the simple beanie was utilised to complete the fashionable looks seen stomping through the concrete jungle.
