It seems like Jurassic Park could be experiencing a revival if Louis Vuitton has anything to say about it. The French fashion house has unveiled its newest window display featuring larger than life dinosaur fossils. The installation was inspired by a visit to the French Natural History Museum in Paris’ famous Les Jardins des Plantes.
The model dinosaur skeletons form the perfect display stand for some of Louis Vuitton’s most classic bags such as the Speedy, the Alma and the Sofia Coppola, which was designed in collaboration with the stylish director.
These behind the scenes images show how the dinosaurs were carefully crafted then spray painted with gold for a luxe effect.
Louis Vuitton are famous for their in-store displays and spare no expense to deck out their shop fronts around the world. In the past they have taken inspiration from the circus, animals and art to create their standout installations. The masters at reworking the classics, Louis Vuitton have once again successfully meshed the past and present to create something unbelievably chic.
