David Jones and Vogue presented the first runway of LMFF in style, with Jessica Gomes, Samantha Harris and Montana Cox all taking the runway to showcase some of Australia’s top designers.
International guest designer and digital print queen Mary Katrantzou opened the show with her stunning designs inspired by stamps, old currency and everyday items. The highlights were a skirt which was covered in pencils which looked like they were leaping off the material and a bold red dress inspired by a typewriter.
