Mimco has a knack for presenting amazing shows season after season with a completely different result -last seasons foray into colour blocking and bold prints is confidently juxtaposed in the Mimco A/W 2012 collection.

This season, Mimco presents an opulent yet grungy spin on luxury accesories. With inspirations from the 1920’s, Chinese culture and a mixture of materials that almost allude to a steampunk vibe, this collection is dark, messy and to say the least, bold. With Sophie Van Der Akker and international model Jessica Gomes walking the runway, this was a show not to be missed.

As one of the more popular consumer shows at LMFF, guest were obviously given a showcase of in-store items but were also treated to how Mimco should be styled and worn. We love the over accesorising of items, with necklace upon earring upon bracelet. If you’ve got it – flaunt it! Bags were worn in traditional over the shoulder and messenger fashion, but we are obsessed with wearing clutch bags with long chains as a belt. Stylists, watch out, this is the thing to do with your bags this season.
