Held at the beautiful Sofitel on Collins in Melbourne, this year’s L’Heure du Thé was a wonderful event. Creator of the high tea, Sha Anderson of Le Style, created the event to bring the spirit of France to Melbourne after being inspired after a trip to Paris.

Talent duo Dean Hewitt and JC Lloyd-Southwell d’Anvers from designer treasure-troveMadam Virtue were brought on to co-host the event. They created a stunning and dynamic installation featuring exclusive couture and pret-a-porter creations from labels such as Prada, Roksanda Ilincic, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and their own in-house label, Madam Virtue.

The dress code was Parisian Chic, with attendees encouraged to dress up for this wonderful afternoon event. There were plenty of stunning outfits which would not be out of place in a classic French movie!

Guests were treated to a feast of beautiful patisseries by well-known French pastry chef Gaston Lenôtre. Gourmet sandwiches, pot-pies and quiches were also on the menu, which were perfectly accompanied by French tea and coffee.

A French inspired pop-up shop filled Level 35 of the Sofitel. With and abundance of designer clothes, lingerie, antiques, cakes and arts and crafts, this cute petite emporium had a little something for everyone.

Thank you to Le Style and Madam Virtue for allowing Couturing to be a part of this wonderful event.
