The book is a collection of memories and milestones – inspiring campaign imagery, magazine editorials and some snapshots of his favourite product and packaging. It celebrates some of Murphy’s best work over his career that has spanned more than three decades. During this time he has established himself as an industry icon and a hair master of fashion runway, editorial and film. His work has graced major Australian and global print publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, marie claire, Elle, Instyle, GQ and more.

Proceeds generated by the book will be donated to the ‘Culture Is Life’ foundation, a charity close to Murphy’s heart which aims to support community driven initiatives to deliver effective solutions to Indigenous suicide. Indigenous Australians now have one of the highest rates of youth suicide in the world, and their loss of cultural identity and spiritual connection they once held with the land and environment are key drivers for this tragic statistic.
