Everyday Fear Transit Gallery
Creep along the tracks at Newport train station and view the only thing hipper than an art gallery: a transit art gallery. Displayed on the walls of The Substation are anonymous text portraits outlining the greatest fears of Melbournians, a chance to see the hearts of those around you. If the viewing isn’t quite reason enough, step into Nosh cafe (opposite the station) for some good coffee and an atmosphere that scorns trendy and instead offers cool.
