Taking you on an explorative journey through time and space, the double-bill show of And All Things Return To Nature/Tomorrow is a hybrid-performance piece by Phillip Adams BalletLab.
Featuring as part of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Phillip Adams and Brooke Stamp have created two shows where surround sound, architecture, and material design fuse with movement to liberate the audience from the current constructs of our world.
In And All Things Return To Nature, Stamp obsesses with the complex nature of physics and ancient cosmology as she strives to come to terms with the ephemeral codes that govern humanity’s existence. Tomorrow, by Adams, is the construction of an ‘other’ world where cult convictions are explored alongside the idea of nature cohabiting with utopia. In all, sounds developed by Garth Paines, form a sonic landscape that envelopes the audience in a place somewhere of our own imagining.
