The National Gallery of Victoria celebrated the launch of Jean Paul Gaultier’s much anticipated exhibit with a VIP gala launch on Thursday night. Some of the biggest names on the Australian social scene including Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush, designers Toni Maticevski, Gwendolynne Burkin and Alex Perry, milliner Richard Nylon and model Cheyenne Tozzi, joined the man himself on the red carpet. Accompanied by muses Alexandra Agoston and Andrea Pejic, Gaultier made a grand entrance, arriving in one of Melbourne’s iconic horse lead carriages.
