Located in the heart of Melbourne’s chic interior district, Jardan has staked its claim on our city’s design loving community launching its first flagship store on 25 September 2014. Set over 800 square meters and spread across two beautifully designed levels, Jardan promises to showcase the very best collection of homewares from local and international artisans.
With business booming in their Sydney and Brisbane retail stores, managing directors and brothers Nick and Mike Garnham saw an opportunity expand their brand into Melbourne.
Speaking about the new site, Nick said “This site and location allows us to create an exceptional environment to showcase Jardan evolving far beyond just furniture. Walk in, and you feel like you are inside a contemporary home. The space is divided into open plan kitchen, library, indoor courtyard and a fun and colourful kids space. It’s a place where you can relax, talk and contemplate.”
The launch of the new store also makes the debut of the 2014/15 Jardan collection, designed and made in Melbourne by Jardan Lab. The range is a celebration of handcrafted elements in their purest form. Timber takes center stage featuring for the first time in the collection. Modular sofas and armchairs sit alongside the expanded lighting range which includes new brass pendants and glass lights.
As well as the new Jardan collection, the new store also stocks a covetable range of bed linen, ceramics, Italian cookware and cutlery, handmade cushions and blankets from Argentina, jewellery, Australian made surfboards and a collection of art, photography and illustrations.
