Guests of HOYTS LUX now have the chance to enjoy the culinary creations of much loved celebrity chef, Manu Feildel, as part of their premium cinematic experience. An avid movie goer, and recently announced 2018 brand ambassador for HOYTS LUX, Feildel’s exclusive new food and beverage menu will include cinema favourites with a twist, as well as delectable new dishes that touch on the celebrity chef’s French heritage.
Commenting on the partnership, Feildel said “My current passion is to bring restaurant quality food to a casual
dining experience and what better way to do this than as part of the HOYTS LUX cinema experience”.
He added that the menu was inspired by his “background, personal preferences on what I would like to be able
to order in the cinema and classics that people always look for when going to see a movie”.
Standout menu items include Feildel’s personal favourite, duck bao: a trio of steamed buns filled with crispy confit
duck, house made shiitake, cucumber pickle, complete with ginger mayo and a smoky hoisin sauce, and the beef
bourguignon pies, encased in short crust pastry and topped with creamy potato puree and rosemary leaves.
Traditional cinema favourites with a gourmet spin also feature, with highlights including the classic cheese burger,
the Frenchy dog, and a sticky and saucy serve of southern-style fried chicken.
Feildel’s love of a sweet finish also shines through with the inclusion of delectable desserts such as a trio of eclairs, French lemon cheesecake smash and twice cooked chocolate soufflé.
