Chicks, gone are the days of wearing your boyfriends or Dad’s old sloppy tee shirts to gym. The current flavour flave in fitness gear is LUXE. It feels luxe, it looks luxe and the latest Running Bare ‘HIT THE PAVEMENT’ Winter Range is 110% Luxe. It is the envy of every other gal in your Pilates or Barre class, and will have heads turning at the trendy cafe you have chosen for your weekend brunch sesh.
Running Bare’s ‘Hit the Pavement’ Winter 2015 range is bright, tight and chic and everything I love in a sportswear range. It’s beautiful colours really POP and makes you beautiful, fitness loving girls stand out. I think it’s a fantastic encouragement for many girls who sometimes feel self-conscious about sportswear and tend to wear black; get out there and flaunt your booty’s in these amazing colours girls!
The range looks at creating girls in a league of their own, with a clear focus on patterns paired with bright block colours. Taking a closer look at the tights in the range, each is unique in pattern and texture yet all have a single coloured waist band. I am finding these on more and more sports wear ranges at the moment, and absolutely loving it. Many girls are conscious of our child-bearing hips and occasional muffin tops (especially in those winter months!) and the thicker/wider waist bands are perfect to slimline ourselves, especially compared to the very tight drawstrings you find on most compression tights.
The ‘Hit the Pavement’ range also has a perfect combination of baggy gear to be paired with the tights and crops, which is just what we all need for those lower intensity yet highly strength focused workouts. They allow our upper body to feel a little more relaxed and flowy, but still show off those killer pins in the epically cool rights. The range of tops is also a breathe of fresh air from what I would consider quite a tired style; the kind of tight yet somewhat baggy tank for running. Running Bare has developed what could essentially be named a 3/4 tank, which I am absolutely loving with my full length tights. It gives you more of a tucked in and toned feeling whilst working out, perfect for runs in stylish places; like Bondi or along the Yarra River.
Second to the fabulous bright colours and pumping new attitude to the Running Bare name, the juices, workouts and playlist suggestions in the lookbook are next level and a fitness/foodie’s (like me) dream! The Winter Warmer juice ideas will not only boost your juice database but also your morning if you drink these after your workout. The ‘Hit the Pavement’ lookbook could almost be considered a mini fitness and fashion app; perhaps an idea for the Running Bare team. There is nothing I love more than being able to look, feel, and dance like my favourite brands or celebs do, and this is exactly what the lookbook made me feel I could do.
If you want those summer vibes in winter, get these outfits on your body. If you want to match your killer abs with a killer crop, go for Running Bare. and if you just want to be deadset cool and fun, HIT THE PAVEMENT in the latest gear from Running Bare; you will be the leader of the pack.
