Suki Waterhouse, a powerhouse singer/songwriter most recently known for her starring role in Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon Prime, has launched a special capsule Dreamed By Suki Waterhouse with Golden Goose to celebrate art and inspire dreamers.
Golden Goose’s Dreamed By collection launched on September 15th, featuring Suki Waterhouse in an immersive HAUS of Dreamers series. The collection includes limited-edition footwear, ready-to-wear elegance, and unique objets d’art.
HAUS is a global cultural platform to unleash creativity and will serve as a new home for the brand’s community of dreamers. A place that unites creatives of multiple disciplines, identities, and backgrounds that will lay its roots in Marghera, the industrial port of Venice, Italy. HAUS of Dreamers is a series of global events for Golden Goose to bring the physical experience of HAUS outside of its homebase Marghera to key destinations around the globe.
Through the Dreamed by Suki Waterhouse Collection consisting of three pieces, the artist draws inspiration from her HAUS of Dreamers event performance during which images she took of Venice lined the entrance of the hotel as a glimpse into the iconic city through her lens. As the evening went on, images of each guest taken by Waterhouse were gradually affixed to an installation of metallic poles emerging from a pool of water, reminiscent of the wooden briccole that sustain the whole city of Venice.
The first item of her Collection frames exactly that moment – a limited-edition 1 of 20 signed photograph taken by the artist herself that captures the essence and soul of Venice.
Accompanying the Venetian collectible is a sleeveless cropped t-shirt that takes cues from the artists own laid-back and glamorous signature style. The tailored top with padded shoulders recalls the volume of a classic blazer and the myriad of round and oval Swarovski crystal embellishments in four sizes are hand-sewn with a delgrade pattern on the front and on the back. The collection is completed with a pair of iconic knee-high Wish Star boots adorned with an intarsia eagle on the top – a leather-made work of art paying homage to the Western culture that deeply inspires both Suki and the brand.
The Dreamed by Suki Waterhouse collection will launch at www.goldengoose.com/au as part of London Fashion Week and be available at select stores.
