As official skin and haircare partner of the 2020 Australian Open, Garnier is bringing to life a vision that marries tennis with the brand’s pledge for a world with more beauty and less plastic through the introduction of the first prototype “green net”. The Coast to Court campaign showcases the “green net”, a competition grade tennis net made from netting offcuts that were destined to hit landfill.

This special showcase can be seen by attendees at the Australian Open 2020 at a Garnier zone outside Show court 3. It will also be seen at Federation square which also features a giant misting wave.

The Coast to Court campaign focuses on Garnier’s commitment to sustainable sourcing as well as reducing their environmental footprint. Their pledge to create a sustainable future extends beyond the Australian Open with Garnier aiming to create more “green nets” and build a program that can supply them to grassroots clubs and schools around Australia.

Garnier will also provide skin and haircare product samples via a team of roving staff that will journey between each AO precinct every day of the AO20.
