BARISTA-LESS CAFE HITS SYDNEY AND MELBOURNE TO GIVE EVERYONE FREE COFFEE

Launching in Sydney and Melbourne, experience Australia’s first Barista-less Cafe where, although barista-quality coffee is served, there are no baristas in sight.

Offering free coffee for all visitors, Aussies are invited to walk into the modern Italian inspired café and create their own coffee, whether it’s for a morning energy boost, or an afternoon pick-me up. Ranging from strong espressos and light cappuccinos to skim lattes and macchiatos, the menu offers everyone’s favourite coffee, which can be personalised exactly the way they like it.

This peek into the future of coffee technology comes from DéLonghi, as it launches the new PrimaDonna Elite, a premium app-linked coffee machine which can deliver a real barista experience with countless personalisation combinations, all at the touch of a button.

On in Sydney today (6 April) and tomorrow (7 April) from 7am until 2pm at Australia Square and moving onto Melbourne next week 13-15 April 7am to 2pm at Federation Square.

CHANDON IN THE CITY AT THE EMERSON ROOFTOP

An exclusive Chandon pop-up has launched at one of Melbourne’s most sophisticated venues, The Emerson Rooftop. Available from Tuesday to Thursday night throughout April from 5pm, guests will be invited to dine under the stars with a menu curated from Domaine Chandon’s Yarra Valley winery restaurant Greenpoint Brasserie, with wine pairings from Chandon’s illustrious list of still and sparkling wines.

The Emerson Rooftop will bring the vines of Chandon to South Yarra with a winery experience in the heart of Melbourne. An abundance of greenery and grape vines will have guests feeling as though they have been whisked away to Yarra Valley to sample some of Australia’s finest wines and gourmet food. A Chandon Cellar Door will offer guests a more traditional wine tasting experience including a selection of Pâté and premium Chandon wines, as well as the option for guests to purchase their favourite Cellar Door varieties.

Guests can experience a taste of the Yarra Valley with wine pairings from Chandon, Australia’s sparkling specialists with genuine French heritage. Still varieties will include Domaine Chandon Chardonnay 2014, with premium sparkling options including Chandon Prestige Cuvee 2005 and Chandon Vintage Brut 2012. Diners will be treated to a menu of fresh European fare in a communal dining space reminiscent of Domaine Chandon.

For larger parties looking for a truly special foodie experience, The Emerson Rooftop will offer an exclusive five course degustation menu with wine pairing on Monday nights. Available for private dinners and events for a minimum of 30 guests, the menu encapsulates the full Domaine Chandon experience.
