ARBORY AFLOAT IS REBIRTHING AS A BALEARIC BEACH CLUB ON SEPTEMBER 21

This Spring, Melbourne’s original floating bar and restaurant, Arbory Afloat, is returning for its seventh season on the Yarra River, reviving as a Balearic Beach Club on Wednesday 21 September. Following its winter hibernation, the resurrection of the seasonal venue and Melbourne icon signifies the arrival of warmer weather and good times.

This year, the open-air venue is inspired by the allure of the exotic Balearic Islands, celebrating the fun, creative and bohemian character of Ibiza, Formentera, Menorca and Mallorca. This sun-drenched archipelago is home to postcard-perfect landscapes, gorgeous sunsets and upbeat nightlife, and Arbory Afloat Balearic Beach Club will be no different. The free-spirited nature, coastal pleasures, laidback lounging and wild character of this Spanish slice of paradise will be embraced throughout the venue, from design and fit out, through to food and cocktails.

A fresh drinks list will complement the new menu and continue to lean into the Balearic Islands theme, while retaining the best of Afloat’s beach club and party-in-the-sun classics.

Escape offshore and onboard from 4pm on Wednesday 21 September 2022, and 11am to 1am from Thursday 22 September onwards.
Reservations, walk-ins and large functions will be welcome, with bookings now available online via https://arboryafloat.com.au/.

Cannoleria has partnered with Moon Dog Craft Brewery to launch a cannoli-flavoured beer, and is available to buy Australia-wide now. An exciting addition to their successful craft beer range, Moon Dog Craft Brewery has paid homage to Cannoleria’s Sicilian-style ricotta cannoli by creating the ‘Almighty Cannolo’.

Based off Cannoleria’s sacred cannoli recipe and brewed with 1,500kg of whey from That’s Amore! ricotta, Moon Dog Craft Brewery’s new ‘Almighty Cannolo’ beer has a biscuit-y malt-y base, a creamy ricotta-like mouthfeel and a tart moreish finish.  300 cases of the cannoli-inspired Moon Dog brew has been distributed Australia-wide, with each 440ml can containing 2.6 standard drinks and an alcohol volume of 7.5%.

The Moon Dog Craft Brewery X Cannoleria ‘Almighty Cannolo’ beer is available now in all good bottle shops.
