Crafted at the brand’s in-house atelier in London, the ready-to-wear collection focuses on fine fabrics and contemporary fits, inspired by nature, and committed to craftsmanship. COS presented its first-ever presentation in Paris yesterday, introducing the Spring Summer 2023 Atelier collection of elevated day-to-evening garments against the distinctively ornate 18 th -century backdrop of the Hôtel d’Évreux on Place Vendôme.

Quality and longevity remain at the collection’s core, championed through versatile weave-embossed leather shorts, 100% RWS wool trousers, and tailored shirting. Soft nature-inspired hues and a burst of warm orange bring a fresh summer feeling, contrasted by cool silver shades. Light touches of black in sheer fabrications and experimental cuts present an effortless and unexpected softness. The craft of weaving is explored, with intertwined yarns creating sophisticated surface textures. Delicate pique edges add a luxurious feel to silk dresses, while hidden fastenings lend themselves to minimal silhouettes, and flowing linen maxi lengths contrast COS’ contemporary tailoring.
