The end of May marks the global release of Le Specs’ latest spring summer collection, “Stardust”. Immersed in the theatrics and outlandishness of glam rock, the collection draws inspiration from rebel recruits T.Rex, David Bowie and Roxy Music to channel a bold spring summer offering.
With the flamboyance and reverie of the 1970s British pop music revolution setting the tone, designer Hamish Tame revels in an innovative and unexpected pairing of print and colour to create looks that feel bright and daring.
Sharp, graphic silhouettes of oversized circular, hexagonal and squared-cornered shades are softened by jewel toned Bordeaux hues, emerald highlights and refined shades of ink and navy. We especially love the eye-catching leopard print frames with icy blue mirror lenses.
Attracting an ever expanding international presence, Le Specs has seen a number of high profile influencers sporting their popular frames, including the lovely Cara Delevingne and the always on trend Olivia Wilde.
