Shu Uemura Art of Hair has released two new products to its hair range – Texture Wave and Detail Master. At an exclusive event at Oscar Oscar Salon, Shu Uemura Art of Hair Artistic Master, Mark Rippon, talked about the latest in hair trends and how to achieve them using the two new products.
The latest hair trend moves away from the big hair that we’ve seen over the last couple of seasons, to a focus on textures and juxtaposed textures. The ‘Tokyo on Trend’ styles from Shu Uemura Art of Hair, are influenced by three of Japan’s most famous fashion designers – Yohji Yamamoto, Comme de Garçons and Issey Miyaki, know for their clean lines and textures.
Texture Wave is used to build texture and provide movable hold, meaning you can build volume in the hair using the product but also provides malleable hold. To build the sleek lines, Detail Master provides sleek shine and high hold. Both products allow changes to be made quickly and effortlessly as they are non-sticky and their hold properties are perfect for creating a dynamic look.
