The Beauty Jury has voted. We sent the Burberry Curve Lash Mascara to twenty Couturing readers to test and review. Here are the results.

Couturing Verdict

The Curve Lash’s winning feature is definitely its small brush, which is great for reaching the corners and lower lashes of the eye. The twisted hairs on the brush ensure that every lash is coated with the formula. The mascara works best for those with thinner and shorter lashes, and the colour payoff is fantastic, with a deep, sultry black that will lend definition to the eyes. The Curve Lash lifts the lashes and holds curl well, creating natural-looking volume that opens up the eyes.

The formula is quite wet, which is great as it provides you with more working time. However I wouldn’t apply more than two coats as it can start to clump (unless you have a clean mascara wand or lash brush to comb through the lashes – in this case, go nuts!). I would suggest starting application by wiggling the wand at the base of the lashes before sweeping through the rest of the lash.

Overall verdict: The Curve Lash Mascara is great staple for your makeup bag, plus the packaging is absolutely to die for, offering a taste of everyday luxury. 4/5
