K-Beauty is the buzz word in Beauty at the moment with the beauty landscape exploding with brands and products from the best in Korean beauty. One of the biggest brands in Korean beauty, innisfree arrived a few months ago in Australia, unleashing its huge range of cult beauty products.
If you haven’t heard of the brand before, innisfree offers a huge range of innovative beauty products using natural ingredients found on Korea’s pristine Jeju Island. The island has volcanic origins with a fertile ecosystem that produces the ingredients for many of its products. All innisfree’s skincare products are formulated with an average of 80% naturally-derived ingredients responsibly sourced from the pure and protected island of Jeju.
One of the cult products from innisfree is the Jeju Orchid Enriched cream. Inspired by the strong vitality of Korea’s pristine Jeju Island orchids that bloom even in the harsh winter climate, the cream contains the unique ingredients to help fight signs of aging.
As one of innisfree’s best selling products, it’s not hard to understand why. The cream gives your skin a huge moisture boost whilst at the same time infusing nourishing ingredients, leaving skin feeling supple, plumped and radiant. The cream is mid-weight but you don’t need a lot for your face. I preferred to use it as a night cream as the finish was a little bit sticky. Don’t be turned off by the initial stickiness as it eventually settles leaving your skin feeling fab. I doubly loved the scent of the cream which is fresh but not overpowering.
The innisfree range is quite affordable and offers quality products at a reasonable price point. The Jeju Orchid cream is currently priced at $42 for 50ml and if you visit innisfree you can probably throw a few face masks in your basket too and the total would be on or just under $50.
With innisfree opening in Sydney on 22 March and three stores already opened in Melbourne, take the time wander in and discover the innisfree world.
