Iconic Australian fashion and lifestyle brand Country Road has unveiled a new range of scents, marking a significant expansion into the home fragrance market. The Country Road Scent range draws inspiration from Australia’s unique landscapes and features products crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The collection includes hand washes, hand creams, body cleansers, and body balms, with all products proudly made in Australia in collaboration with renowned perfumers.
At the heart of the range is “1974”, the brand’s signature scent, which has been diffused in Country Road stores since 2020. This fragrance captures the essence of Country Road with notes of crisp linen, fig, lily of the valley, and gardenia, grounded by warm cinnamon, sandalwood, and nutmeg. The collection also includes five other distinctive fragrances: Cedar & Mahogany, Rose & Oud, Neroli & Orange, Vetiver & Thyme, and Saltbush & Hinoki Wood. Each scent is carefully curated to evoke the sensory richness of Australia’s natural environment, offering a variety of uplifting, grounding, and soothing profiles.
Ty Symonds, General Manager of Country Road Home, expressed excitement about the launch, calling it an important milestone in the brand’s evolution. “We’ve renewed our vision of scent to elevate our customers’ sensory experience and capture the essence of Australian living,” Symonds said. He also highlighted the vegan-friendly, cruelty-free nature of the collection, which aligns with the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The initial release focuses on body and hand care, with plans for a home fragrance line set to debut in early 2025.
Available both in-store and online, the Country Road Scent range is poised to be a hit this holiday season, with curated gift packs available in each of the six fragrances. The collection provides a perfect way for customers to bring the spirit of Australian landscapes into their homes. For more information, visit www.countryroad.com.au
