Swiss sportswear brand On is set to make its Australian debut with the opening of its flagship store in Melbourne Emporium on Saturday, October 5. The new 390 square meter store, located on Little Bourke Street, is designed to reflect Melbourne’s vibrant urban landscape and running culture, featuring a carefully curated aesthetic that embodies the city’s spirit.
Rebecca Cai, General Manager for APAC at On, expressed enthusiasm for the store’s opening, emphasizing its role as a dynamic hub for Melbourne’s passionate running community. “Situated in the heart of Melbourne’s vibrant CBD, our store aims to be a space for connection and engagement, allowing both locals and visitors to explore our cutting-edge innovations and extensive product range,” she stated. The store will offer a diverse selection of products across categories like running, training, lifestyle, trail, and more.
In addition to catering to sports enthusiasts, On has established partnerships with prominent athletes and cultural icons, including tennis stars Roger Federer and Iga Świątek, as well as FKA twigs and Zendaya. To foster community engagement, On will launch the On Run Club, starting October 10, inviting participants to join weekly runs through Melbourne’s iconic sites.
