FOUR PILLARS X QT HOTELS ORDERED CHAOS GIN DINNER
In partnership with Four Pillars Gin, May is the month of chaos across all QT Hotels and Resorts. To celebrate, QT Melbourne are transforming their kitchens, menus and signature restaurant, Pascale Bar and Grill, into a chaotic wonderland of five courses for one night only with an Ordered Chaos Gin Dinner.
The month of celebrations follows the launch of our first ever branded gin artfully created by Four Pillars’ team – Ordered Chaos, artfully created by Four Pillar’s team of distilling experts, then blended beautifully alongside Four Pillars signature botanicals by QT Hotels and Resorts’ best bartenders. A gin with attitude, the result is a sensational drink and experience to excite.
The matched five-course food and beverage experience will bring riotous flavour combinations, deconstructed dishes and highly smashable desserts. Guests are invited to ready their dance steps for matched Four Pillars sensory cocktails, musical pairings, and effervescent entertainment all hosted by Stu Gregor, Four Pillars co-founder.

NIKKA WHISKEY PARTNERS WITH SHANNON BENNETT FOR WORLD WHISKY DAY
Esteemed chef Shannon Bennett, and Marcus Parmenter, the Nikka Whisky Brand Ambassador worked in compliment to create the perfect pairing menu, for guests at Maybe Sammy cocktail bar (Sydney) and Lui Bar (Melbourne) to enjoy on Saturday 15th May, World Whisky Day. Shannon Bennett has been synonymous with luxury Australian dining for over 20 years, making him the perfect chef for this World Whisky Day initiative.
The partnership will also bring together a selection of VIP’s at Vue de monde’s Lui Bar for an intimate menu tasting, hosted by Shannon Bennett and Nikka Whisky’s brand ambassador, Marcus on World Whisky Day. The menu features three signature Nikka Whisky drinks: Nikka Whisky on the rocks, the classic High Ball Cocktail and the Rapscallion Cocktail. All three drinks have been created using the Miyagikyo Single Malt, an expression from the Miyagikyo Distillery.
The food offering includes three carefully curated bite-sized dishes, that pair perfectly with Nikka Whisky’s Miyagikyo Single Malt. The dishes showcase incredible Australian produce and feature food inspired by the spectrum of tasting notes in Nikka Whisky. In true Shannon Bennett style, the menu is bold, unique and combines items not traditionally paired together, such as Sydney rock oysters, quail eggs and doughnuts.

The roller doors at Starward’s Port Melbourne Distillery will be up on Saturday 15 May in a toast to World Whisky Day and to celebrate the launch of our very special Ginger Beer Cask #6 whisky release.
Starward has partnered with the patisserie and baking stars of Melbourne for a very decadent, Ginger Beer Cask inspired immersive whisky pairing experience. Franco Villalva (To Be Frank), Kay-lene Tan (Tonka/Coda), Giorgia McAllister (Montforte Viennoiserie) and Audrey Allard (Holy Sugar) will be parading a delectable array of sugary confections, each one inspired by and matching perfectly with the ginger intensity of this single malt whisky.
