Ever wanted to make your very own blend of wine? Well, at this year’s High Country Harvest Festival you can – with Brown Brothers Winery. The 2017 festival is headlined by the exclusive opportunity to participate in the Brown Brothers’ High Country Harvest Wine Blending Challenge – an interactive wine blending workshop.

Guests will learn the art of tasting and blending wine, creating two bottles of their very own wine blend – one for home enjoyment, and one to enter the challenge. Brown Brothers 4th generation family member and Public Relations Manager Caroline Brown said all blends will be tasted and judged by the family and wine makers.

“The winner will be invited back to the winery to work with the winemaking team for future release of their blend at Brown Brothers Cellar Door in Milawa,” she said. “It’s such a rare opportunity to be immersed in winemaking at Brown Brothers.”

To kick off the festival, guests can once again step inside the Brown family’s stunning historic barn and experience an unforgettable night at the upcoming 2017 High Country Harvest Opening Dinner in Milawa on Friday May 5.

Inside the building where their very first wines were made, guests will explore a five-course menu crafted by Brown Brothers hat-winning Executive Chef, Douglas Elder.
