FEAST OF MERIT ROOFTOP BAR OPENS
Iconic Richmond restaurant Feast of Merit has launched the ‘Feast of Merit Rooftop’, an intimate and secluded bar which is a thoughtfully constructed extension of the restaurant, offering a middle-eastern inspired snack menu complimented by locally sourced wine and beer, as well as delicious specialty offerings.
Reminiscent of Feast of Merit’s restaurant fare, the Rooftop menu will have a vibrant selection of middle- eastern snacks including cured Tasmanian ocean trout with ras el hanout, spiced organic almonds with chickpeas and Merguez sausages with labneh.
Complementing this unique menu is an equally impressive drinks list, showcasing a variety of Victorian wineries from the Yarra Valley and Grampian regions as well as South Australian favourites, the Clare Valley, King Valley, McLaren and Barossa Valley.
The Feast of Merit rooftop is proudly supported by Coopers Brewery – one of the venues substantial partners. Coopers will provide the Feast of Merit Rooftop with Pale Ale and Brooklyn Lager exclusively poured on tap. The Rooftop will also showcase beer from like-minded and independently owned Port Melbourne-based brewery Quiet Deeds, which produces quality craft beers, full of flavour and complexity.
Richmond local Siren Design is responsible for the interior fit-out, generously donating their creative efforts to craft an intimate space reflective of the Feast of Merit ethos. With Facebook and Twitter Headquarters among their repertoire, Siren Design’s expertise was warmly welcomed and appreciated.
The extension of Feast of Merit is a guilt-free haven designed to bring people together for pre-dinner drinks, after work cocktails or an afternoon Sunday session in an idyliic atmosphere.
Feast of Merit Rooftop bar will be open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 5pm – late, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3pm – late.
