Witchery launch their Balance collection this week, embracing sustainable fabrics and presenting fashion with a conscious.
Capitalising on the athleisure trend that has seen loungewear translate from workout to weekend, Witchery Balance takes its inspiration from activewear while shifting its focus towards round-the-clock dressing. The collection is all about versatility- comfortable, yet beautiful pieces that can be seamlessly integrated into your pre existing wardrobe. A core colour palette of white, grey and jet black joins dark smoky navy to ensure the entire range coordinates for the cooler months, while graphic, abstract prints bring a modern twist. Outerwear, knitwear and bodywear basics have all been created with layering and the environment in mind.
For a conscious purchase that doesn’t sacrifice on style, two stand-out fashion pieces – the fold-over tie pant and the longline duster coat – have been created from recycled polyester fibre made from pre and post-consumer polyester, including discarded water bottles. This helps to reduce waste and dependency on petroleum and allows less toxic emissions to be discharged into the environment. It’s a feel-good element that will soon become a favourite. Nilt too makes its Witchery debut this season, a yarn prepared and produced in Israel that considers the environment by reducing toxic emissions and using recycled waste.
Witchery’s Balance collection embraces sustainable fabrications and is available in store and online now.
