Yellowglen Terrace is back for the 2015 Spring Racing Carnival, launching last Saturday at Flemington’s Sofitel Girls’ Day Out. The Terrace has been given a ‘Hamptons-style’ makeover, bringing the coastal style of the New York beachside to Melbourne’s trackside.
The two-story viewing platform provides race-goers with a relaxing place to enjoy sweeping views of the racetrack alongside a glass of bubbly. This year’s Terrace has been re-designed to feature a ‘selfie hub’, where guests can take their own ‘selfies’ photobooth-style and post them straight to their own social media platforms.
In her new role as Yellowglen Terrace Lifestyle Director, Emma Clapham – blogger, DIY expert and home stylist – collaborated with Melbourne stylists Georgeous to create this year’s charming ‘Hamptons’ inspired Terrace design.
“There will be lots of fresh, cascading greenery, relaxed costal furniture and a brand new selfie hub for guests to create their own ‘sparkling moments’” said Emma, “It’s going to be another amazing Spring Racing season at Yellowglen Terrace.”

Celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson will be on the lookout for stylish guests as this year’s Yellowglen Terrace Fashion Director, whilst also providing her styling tips for perfecting your racing look. Joining her will be Yellowglen Creative Director – jewellery designer Samantha Wills. She has touched the ‘selfie hub’ with her signature boho-chic style, with the hub’s walls spotted with inspiring quotes in her artistic handwriting.

The mirrored bar in the Terrace will be well-stocked with a range of Yellowglen sparkling wines, including a brand-new single service piccolo bottle illustrated by Samantha Wills, and a Hamptons-inspired cocktail designed by Emma Clapham, all set to the tune by the resident Yellowglen Terrace DJ.
Yellowglen Terrace will provide a VIP experience for all general admission race-goers and is open to all ticket holders on the following race days:
