Over the past couple of months I’ve shared a love-hate relationship with my skin. Perhaps it’s been the combination of cooler weather and working in an air conditioned office, which, for drier skin types like mine only makes your skin feel deprived of moisture. And, as much as I enjoy traveling, the occasional interstate flights added in my schedule didn’t really help my battle for happier skin! My existing array of skincare products didn’t feel effective in providing my skin with the comfort it craved, so I was super excited to try L’Oreal Paris’ new two-step Revitalift combination, promising to turbo boost my skincare regime.
In a constant quest to offer Australian women the very best in beauty, L’Oréal Paris has once again revolutionised skincare. Drawing its inspiration from Hyaluronic injections, the Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum and Revolumising Anti-Ageing Cream both contain ultra concentration of hyaluronic acid (‘HA’). If you’re unfamiliar with this wonderful ingredient, as our skin ages and decreases in HA content, it loses the ability to retain water, so HA works to hydrate skin for longer, as well as stimulate collagen production to increase skin volume and plumpness.
The overall results of my initial 4-week trial? Seriously happy, hydrated, smooth and plumper looking skin!
Step 1: Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum
Inspired by dermatological injections, this light serum has been designed to even out skintone and it’s formula has the highest concentration of HA for plumper skin. The unique applicator makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product. I’m an advocate for serums in general, but when they have targeted effects like this one, it’s a good step towards making noticeable changes to your skin and it can complement any woman’s skincare regime to amplify results. This serum is now a permanent staple in my travel makeup bag, to help combat those skin moisture-zapping flights!
Step 2: Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Anti-Ageing Moisturiser
This moisturiser contains Fibroxyl, which when partnered with HA mimics the biological effects of a HA injection, helping to refill and re-plump the skin with volume. Produced by biotechnology, the micrometric acid has a low molecular weight which enables it to penetrate into the skin and act directly in the epidermis, for deeper anti-ageing action. The packaging is nicely weighted and curved, with a secure lid. The texture has a soft cushion feel across the skin and a good ‘slip’ upon application. It’s nourishing but not heavy. My skin, even after the first few days of application felt noticeably smoother – to my delight it also acted as a great ‘base’ for makeup.
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum and L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Anti-Ageing Cream are available from selected pharmacies, variety and department stores from September 2015.
